These catheters are 23.5 cm long, 3.10 mm in external diameter with an opening at the distal tip. The flexible sheath is made of polyethylene.
They include two parts:
• A flexible sheath in polyethylene, beveled at the distal extremity, with 4 guide-marks at 4, 7, 8 and 10 cm from the tip.
• An internal plunger.
The Spirette® and Mucat® are used without a syringe. The aspiration is performed with the integrated plunger.
